This is an internal/external posting open to Indigenous candidates. First preference will be given to qualified L.K.D.S.B. permanent Secondary teachers.

The hiring for this position will be completed equitably in accordance with the Special Programs provisions of the Ontario Human Rights Code. • Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification required; 
  
• Knowledge of and experience teaching various arts disciplines that explore or reflect First Nations, Métis, and Inuit perspectives, culture, and traditions preferred;
  
• Knowledge of and experience teaching land-based educational approaches preferred;
  
• Knowledge of Kettle and Stony Point, Bkejwanong, or Aamjiwnaang and their geographical features an asset;
  
• Experience working with Indigenous students an asset.

Position Effective Date & Length - Duration & Schedule:

Three positions available.
9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., 110 hours total 
Rate: $58.58 per hour
